The T. Rowe Price Foundation is pleased to announce the release of the 2022 State of the Baltimore Nonprofit Sector Report. As a result of years of collaboration with community partners throughout the city of Baltimore, dozens of data points collected through assessments and surveys, and deep analysis by trusted partners, the State of the Baltimore Nonprofit Sector Report consists of 10 core insights connected to the health and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations.

The Annie E. Casey Foundation is saddened to share that Patrice Cromwell, vice president of the Foundation’s Center for Economic Opportunity, passed away on Aug. 27, 2024, after a long illness. Cromwell, who spent nearly 20 years at the Foundation, led its investments to improve financial stability and educational and economic prospects for children, young people and families.

A collaborative project of the BIP and Central Baltimore Partnership, this new directory of Baltimore nonprofit and public workforce development organizations is now available to help employers and community stakeholders find workforce partners to meet hiring needs. It summarizes the work of more than 45 organizations that support Baltimore City workers by offering skills training, eliminating barriers to employment, and facilitating job placement.
