On Monday, August 10, 2020, a gas explosion rocked Labyrinth Road in the Fallstaff neighborhood, leveling three homes and damaging approximately 20 others.
A year ago, representatives from CASEL, The Collaborative for Academic, Social, Emotional Learning, and Baltimore City Schools shared data from CASEL's then-recent social and emotional landscape analysis of City Schools. We learned about the anticipated partners and programs to support student needs, support systems and SEL curriculum, and development of school-based and district-level staff. Join us to learn about the implementation of those programs and additional programs to support student wholeness in the district.
The T. Rowe Price Foundation announced Friday it will be granting $500,000 to global and local organizations working to relieve the widespread impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting gaps in community services.

The Affinity Group on Aging invites you to a program focusing on the critical determinant of health; the lack of affordable, accessible transportation for older adults. As Baltimore City residents age, they often lose their capacity to drive which negatively impacts their independence and quality of life contributing to ill health due to social isolation and loneliness.
