The child care and preschool system is vital to the stability of the labor force and economy, and yet the entire system is balanced on the passion of women who work in child care because they delight in children and clearly understand they are contributing to the future - but experience employment in the sector as underappreciated and unsustainable. Speakers will share eye-opening learnings gleaned from an innovative model that connects the voices and perspectives of Baltimore child care professionals and caregivers with systems representatives who hold positional power.

Members will learn about key issues and priorities that affect Maryland communities as well as updates on the state budget changes in federal policy, and the potential impact on philanthropy.
