Happening during National Diabetes Awareness Month, this program will provide an overview of two of the six partnership initiatives funded through the Regional Partnership Catalyst Program and developed to address the growing diabetes epidemic in Maryland. MPN members and partners will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about opportunities to support the efforts in a successful diabetes campaign to reduce diabetes.

On February 27, 2010 an 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck Chile early Saturday morning, killing more than 700 people and leaving 2 million people displaced. The earthquake also toppled buildings, snapped power lines, damaged roads and bridges, and cut off communications. The most significant damage appears to be in and around Concepción, the country's second largest city.

Danista brings with her a wealth of experience spanning over three decades in the philanthropic and non-profit sector.
