Join Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Education Funders and Prenatal to Five Affinity Groups to learn about "mixed delivery systems" of care that connect across multiple programs, providers, and settings (including public schools and community-based organizations) that can be supported with a combination of public funds and private funds. Our speakers will share possible avenues for a system of mixed delivery in Baltimore and across Maryland along with potential next steps. Space will be created for dialogue between funders about steps you can take together around early care and education.

All grantmakers are invited to participate in this four-part professional development series taught by our region's experienced practitioners, presented by Maryland Philanthropy Network. The Democracy Collaborative’s report Anchor Collaboratives: Building Bridges with Place-Based Partnerships and Anchor Institutions discusses the role of anchor institutions and collaboratives in leveraging the power of their economic assets to address social and economic disparities and to revitalize local communities.
This full-day professional development workshop for grantmakers is taught by the region's experienced practitioners and is designed for trustees and staff of foundations, giving circles and corporate giving, individuals who are exploring how to organize significant charitable giving, and beginning and intermediate grantmakers.
