In an effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic – and to comply with state and local governmental stay-at-home orders – virtually all nonprofits across the country closed their offices in March and required their employees to work remotely.
Please join Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Health Affinity Group for a hybrid program on reproductive justice efforts in Maryland. This session will explore the current national reproductive health landscape and the impact on Maryland, including the identified unmet needs and the 2022/23 legislation passed to protect and expand access to abortion care in Maryland. We’ll discuss organizing efforts around the Right to Reproductive Freedom constitutional amendment on the ballot in November 2024.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) received a generous donation of $5 million from the Sherman Family Foundation. The gift is intended to help the BSO introduce more children and young people to symphonic music, and will support the orchestra's various outreach initiatives to this end.
