Giving circle leaders are invited the Seventh Annual Giving Circle Connector Gathering The dozens of giving circles in our region will gather together to connect and learn from one another about a variety of issues important to giving circles.
All Maryland Philanthropy Network members are invited to a conversation with several members of the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners. Throughout the year, our Education Funders Affinity Group meets with key education leaders to learn about their priorities for the school district.
At this program, panelists will describe how the cases of unaccompanied children and vulnerable immigrant adults are being handled by the legal services community, as well as the efforts taken to address their mental health and other basic needs. They will also discuss the Multi-Ethnic Domestic Violence Project (MEDOVI), which creates an avenue for victims who are immigrants and their children to get legal status; and how Maryland’s legal community is gearing up to serve even more immigrants.
