2021 Giving Circle Gathering: We’re all in this Together

Giving circle leaders are invited to the twelfth annual Giving Circle Connector Gathering. The dozens of giving circles in our region will gather virtually to connect and learn from one another about a variety of issues important to giving circles. This year's theme will be “We’re all in this Together” with a special presentation by Sara Lomelin, Executive Director of Philanthropy Together focused on leading a movement to diversify and democratize philanthropy and support Race Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion work within giving circles.

COVID - 19 Outbreak

Communities around the globe are currently responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease, known commonly as "COVID -19", which is caused by the virus “SARS-CoV-2”. As we do during times of disaster, Maryland Philanthropy Network will serve as a clearinghouse for resources and information about relief and recovery efforts to aid Maryland's philanthropies response. MPN members are invited to join us for a morning of reconnection, celebration, and updates on the vibrant activities of our network. We are excited to have Susan Taylor Batten, president and chief executive officer of ABFE: A Philanthropic Partnership for Black Communities, as our keynote speaker to inspire and challenge us as we continue working together for an equitable and just Maryland.
