For the first time in the 50-year history of the Bainum Family Foundation, an executive outside of the founding family will lead the day-to-day operations of the Bethesda-based charitable foundation.
This peer group is focused on promoting and strengthening a dynamic arts scene in Maryland and engages and educates area funders about existing and emerging opportunities. Join MPN’s Arts and Health Funders Affinity Groups to learn more about social prescribing, the work plan for Maryland, and how it will benefit arts and cultural organizations as well as residents. A San Diego-based funder involved in this work will also share their experience.

Please join Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Maryland Aging Innovations Group for the 2023 Summit to encourage Maryland’s commitment to develop a multisector plan for aging that will engage and impact all Maryland residents. Along with sharing the local ‘age-friendly’ framework urban and rural Area Agencies on Aging are implementing; participants will hear about New York’s innovative efforts in creating a state-wide resource that transforms the infrastructure and coordination of services for a rapidly aging population and people with disabilities. We’ll end with inspirational Creative Arts Projects for older adults!
