The purpose of Funders Together to End Homelessness Baltimore (FTEHB) is to bring private and public funders together to focus on structural and racial inequities related to housing instability, homelessness, and supportive services, and to prevent and end homelessness in the Baltimore region.
Maryland Philanthropy Network has partnered with Maryland Nonprofits to host a Legislative Briefing for many years. This is your opportunity to learn what other funders and nonprofits will be working on, policy issues affecting nonprofits, how the legislature will function, how you can be an effective advocate in the coming year, and how to access opportunities for your organization. During this virtual convening, you will hear from public officials, the incoming administration, and leading nonprofit advocates.

Join us for our next State of the Sector Workgroup meeting featuring the State of the Sector Report with Dr. John Brothers, President of T. Rowe Price Foundation where we will continue our rich field building discussions and follow up on key ideas generated at the September meeting related to top priorities that are emerging as focal points for the collective work of the group. In addition, we will further explore the development of a common language around key concepts and dig deeper into starting points for taking action.
The Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Aging Innovations Group and Maryland Department of Aging invite you to a special presentation by the National Center to Reframe Aging to gain an understanding of the need to change the way our society communicates about aging and older adults. This session will provide guidance on how to advance an equitable and complete story about aging and promote evidence-based communication strategies to frame aging issues and help participants learn more about the power of research-based framing strategies to increase the impact and efficacy of your communications and work.
