A Peer Conversation about Grantee Data Collection

A Peer Conversation about Grantee Data Collection

Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 12:00 - 1:30 PM

Does your organization have goals or aspirations about your grantees’ board and staff composition? Are you tracking that data? If so, what do you collect? And how? We will delve into these and other related questions during this conversation focused on data collection toward diversity, equity and inclusion goals.

Maryland Philanthropy Network members are invited to learn what their peers are doing (and why and how!) around requesting, collecting and reporting data from grantees. We’ll discuss how funders can drive values of equity and inclusion throughout the application process - including what we require from an organization as we make funding decisions. We’ll also discuss how well philanthropy is looking at ourselves.

We’ll share resources on this subject from PEAK Grantmaking and Funders for LGBTQ Issues. While this conversation is germane to many roles within foundations, we encourage grants managers and administrators to attend. Bring your experiences and questions to the table for dialogue!

This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only. Lunch will be served.
