The University of Colorado Denver completed their first phase of an organizational network study to assess the ways in which the BIP partners collaborate with one another, as well as with local businesses, residents, and community-based organizations. Their analysis explores how larger systems and community factors in Baltimore relate to economic inclusion, how economic inclusion is implemented within an Anchor, and what enables or hinders economic inclusion efforts at the Anchor Institutions.

Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Aging Innovations 2024 Summit to celebrate Older Americans Month and express appreciation for the dedication and commitment to those working in the field of aging. This year's theme is Older Adults are Powerful Assets! which will demonstrate the impactful value older adults give daily as employees, volunteers, and leaders. The keynote speaker will be Bradley Schurman, author of Super Age: Decoding the Demographic Destiny.
The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed after being struck by the 984-foot-long cargo ship, the Dali, early in the morning on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. As we do during times of disaster, Maryland Philanthropy Network will serve as a clearinghouse for resources and information about relief and recovery efforts. On October 3rd, United Philanthropy Forum’s network of philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs) came together for an annual Philanthropy + Policy Institute to share the political forecast, strategies for engaging with a new federal administration, how best to navigate the regulatory process, the role of philanthropy in preparing for Census 2030, and a special focus on the power of collaboration between state governments and philanthropy through public/private partnerships.
