Since 2011, the Baltimore Integration Partnership (BIP), a partnership of philanthropic, nonprofit, financial, anchor and public sector organizations, has been working to advance economic inclusion. Please join us on August 3rd to learn about Maryland's plans for its proposal - we will be joined by Margaret Williams, Executive Director of the Maryland Family Network. Maryland Family Network has two representatives on a nine-member leadership committee, drawn from the Governor-appointed Maryland Early Care and Education Advisory Council, that is providing guidance to MSDE staff on the design and development of Maryland’s proposal.

This year, Baltimore City Public Schools faced a $130 million structural budget gap for School Year 17-18. The gap was predicted to grow by about $30 million each year unless addressed.
In the coming years, there will be an even greater need for philanthropy to support frontline advocacy and organizing for justice.
