Please join Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Health Funders Affinity Group and Affinity Group on Aging for our third discussion about community-based programs supported by Total Cost of Care resources. Happening during National Diabetes Awareness Month, this program will provide an overview of two of the six partnership initiatives funded through the Regional Partnership Catalyst Program and developed to address the growing diabetes epidemic in Maryland. MPN members and partners will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about opportunities to support the efforts in a successful diabetes campaign to reduce diabetes.

Since then, Baltimore City, Baltimore Police Department and multiple partners have come together to map out steps needed to make meaningful and sustainable change. Join Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Health Funders Affinity Group and the Affinity Group on Aging to learn how Baltimore City is transforming the landscape of behavioral health crisis response and providing the tools necessary to reduce unnecessary police interaction with people with mental illness and substance use disorder.
Join Maryland Philanthropy Network for a virtual conversation to learn about the recovery effort over the past two months including an update from the Governor's Office and on the philanthropic response from the three established funds - Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund at the Baltimore Community Foundation, the City of Baltimore’s Key Bridge Emergency Response Fund, and the Bridging the Gap Fund of United Way of Central Maryland. We will also have a data presentation from the Baltimore Metropolitan Council on the regional impact of the Key Bridge collapse and the effects on jobs, transportation, and environmental justice.
