CLLCTIVLY launches a no-strings-attached micro-grant to support Black-led and Black-owned organizations on the frontlines— serving children and families who have become even more economically vulnerable as a result of COVID-19.
This new report highlights ongoing initiatives to create jobs through economic inclusion in Baltimore. Through interviews, it documents best practices and finds that the strategies create benefits for individuals, businesses and institutions. The report calls for broader participation by businesses and institutions as well as people-focused investments and policies.

Our speakers will share information about passed legislation and efforts that did not quite make it this year. They will also provide information outcomes of specific bills in the 2021 Maryland Legislative Session in the issue areas of workforce development and quality jobs, the public safety net, financial education, asset building, and consumer protections.

This peer group is focused on the effective practices in job training and retention for adults and youth as well as a continuum of issues surrounding successful employment and financial security for low-wage workers and vulnerable populations including, advancement of incumbent workers, job quality, equity and barriers to employment such as transportation, child care, and criminal records.
The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore just donated $5,000 to make sure hospitality workers get the training they need to keep them safe during the pandemic.
