In last month’s Member Memo, I emphasized a core belief that continues to guide our work: meaningful, lasting impact in our communities depends on collaboration. No single organization can address today’s complex challenges alone. A perfect example of this belief in action took place earlier this month when we partnered with Exponent Philanthropy to host a Lean Funder Regional Gathering at our office in Baltimore.

Supporting nonprofit organizational health by way of facilitating stronger partnerships between philanthropy and nonprofits is one of three priority actions that resulted from Maryland Philanthropy Network member conversations over the past year in our State of the Sector Workgroup.
