Member Sponsored Briefing: United Way of Central Maryland Listening Session
Please join Franklyn Baker, President and Chief Executive Officer and Martina A. Martin, SVP & Chief Operating Officer of the United Way of Central Maryland (UWCM) for a special 90-minute listening session here at the Maryland Philanthropy Network. UWCM is launching its next strategic planning process for 2020-2022 to help direct its transformation, and they would deeply value your input.
Six years ago, United Way of Central Maryland (UWCM) dedicated itself to addressing the root causes of poverty and building family stability by advancing the essentials of self-sufficiency: education, employment, housing and health while balancing the best of its traditional role of facilitating charitable giving (a “B-to-B” model) and expanding to add a “B-to-C” approach. The outcomes have been very solid, using a data-driven, prescriptive program model, but UWCM is now poised to undertake a transformation to a much more community-centered, neighborhood-driven approach.
This event is sponsored by the United Way of Central Maryland. It is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only. Continental breakfast will be served.
