For more than 12 years, Maryland Philanthropy Network has led a learning agenda around racial equity for our members. Part peer-exchange, part workshop, this program is designed for members to learn from several colleague organizations about their racial equity journeys, reflect on where your organization is in its journey, and unearth insights to take into your own work. The peer exchange will include discussion of building buy-in from the board and navigating differences between staff and board on this issue. We’ll also explore ideas around future MPN activities and what offerings/supports will help move you along your journey.
Join Maryland Philanthropy Network for an expanded opportunity for all MPN members to convene in our State Capitol for our annual Philanthropy Summit (formerly known as Day in Annapolis). Members will receive updates from state policy makers and sector leaders on the 2026 legislative session. Members will learn about key issues and priorities that affect Maryland communities as well as updates on the state budget changes in federal policy, and the potential impact on philanthropy.
Please join Maryland Philanthropy Network for an opportunity to explore the role of philanthropy across many issues at the state level, to build relationships with state government leaders and with each other, to hear updates on the 2024 legislative session, as well as an opportunity for philanthropy to dialogue with state government leaders and philanthropic peers.
