Maryland Philanthropy Network’s School-Centered Neighborhood Investment Initiative funded a research analysis of the 21st Century School Buildings Program efforts. All MPN members are invited to hear from the research team: Ariel H. Bierbaum, MCP, PhD; Erin O’Keefe, MPP; and Alisha Butler, MA; about the report’s findings and the overarching questions they raise about the 21CSBP. These questions bridge their findings with the current context and aim to prompt reflection and additional conversations about the 21CSBP in the face of the “dual pandemics” of COVID-19 and systemic racism in the United States.

This interactive workshop will provide participants the opportunity to explore the imperatives of ABFE’s 2020 Call to Action: We Must be in It for the Long Haul through their Responsive Philanthropy in Black Communities (RPBC) framework and tools. This will include considering strategies to address a few of the Call-to-Action imperatives via a “test-drive” of at least one of two tools, What’s Race got to Do With It? and the Racial Equity Impact Analysis. NEW YORK - Enterprise Community Partners (Enterprise) today announced the closing of the Equitable Upward Mobility Fund (EUMF), a $190 million Low-Income Housing Tax Credit fund designed specifically to support economic mobility with a focus on ra
