In this webinar, you’ll explore the realm of consultant partnerships, discover the forms those philanthropy-consulting partnerships take, and learn about their benefits and inherent challenges. Our presenters also will explain what foundations most need to know about initiating and supporting philanthropy-consulting partnerships.

Part peer-exchange, part workshop, this program is designed for members to learn from several colleague organizations about their racial equity journeys, reflect on where your organization is in its journey, and unearth insights to take into your own work. The peer exchange will include discussion of building buy-in from the board and navigating differences between staff and board on this issue. We’ll also explore ideas around future MPN activities and what offerings/supports will help move you along your journey.

Gain insight and understanding regarding social determinants of health and Governor Moore's new place-based strategies associated with the E.N.O.U.G.H Act, which aims to reduce the causes of childhood poverty in communities across Maryland. Participants will then enjoy lunch and an engaging conversation with local voices to discuss shared goals around the racial, social, and economic inequities facing rural Maryland and how philanthropy might respond.
