The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) received a generous donation of $5 million from the Sherman Family Foundation. The gift is intended to help the BSO introduce more children and young people to symphonic music, and will support the orchestra's various outreach initiatives to this end.

Baltimore Children & Youth Fund (BCYF) announced it is investing $9.55 million in Summer 2025 to create a variety of creative, fun, and empowering opportunities for Baltimore City’s young people.
Join our panel to learn more about the youth fund and hear about other children and youth priorities of the city.
In the coming fiscal year, Baltimore City's Children and Youth Fund will have about $12 million to spend.
The Prenatal-to-Five (PN-5) Affinity Group was created to help funders who are interested in supporting expectant parents, and children from birth through age five and their families improve their grantmaking by learning more about initiatives, educational research, and best practices. More details about the agenda and speakers will be available soon!
