It’s time for Maryland Philanthropy Network’s peer learning exchange for arts and culture funders! This year, we’ll gather over a cuppa for a lightly structured peer-to-peer exchange on a handful of topics, including the Maryland State Arts Council's new Arts Capital grant program. We’ll also discuss some group “business” like the possibility of doing a comprehensive grant survey. We encourage you to bring your burning questions, strategic ponderings or interesting projects to raise with the group.

Join Maryland Philanthropy Network for a virtual conversation to learn about the recovery effort over the past two months including an update from the Governor's Office and on the philanthropic response from the three established funds - Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund at the Baltimore Community Foundation, the City of Baltimore’s Key Bridge Emergency Response Fund, and the Bridging the Gap Fund of United Way of Central Maryland. We will also have a data presentation from the Baltimore Metropolitan Council on the regional impact of the Key Bridge collapse and the effects on jobs, transportation, and environmental justice.

Together, we’ll reconnect with a focus on addressing health disparities across Maryland. Receive an update on the funders’ collaboration around birth equity, neighborhood nursing pilot, and mental/behavioral health initiatives. During this sharing luncheon, members are invited to update colleagues on your funding priorities and develop deeper partnerships to provide collective impact.
