In Maryland Philanthropy Network’s role of connecting members to policy makers, we are pleased to offer this introduction to Jill P. Carter, Director of Baltimore’s Office of Civil Rights and Wage Enforcement.
Both locally and across the country intentional collaborations among funders increase the impact of philanthropy by connecting the knowledge and expertise of diverse funders with a wide range of funding interests.
The Maryland Community Foundation Maryland Philanthropy Network's in person meeting will be hosted by the Community Foundation of Frederick County.

The University of Colorado Denver completed their first phase of an organizational network study to assess the ways in which the BIP partners collaborate with one another, as well as with local businesses, residents, and community-based organizations. Their analysis explores how larger systems and community factors in Baltimore relate to economic inclusion, how economic inclusion is implemented within an Anchor, and what enables or hinders economic inclusion efforts at the Anchor Institutions.
