Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Member Directory for Grantseekers
The directory is your local resource to the specific interests and contacts at private foundations and corporate giving programs in central Maryland – including private foundations that do not review proposals. Members of the Maryland Philanthropy Network' provide their own information to simplify your grant research. The directory does not rely on public databases.
As the COVID-19 outbreak evolves, we are convening members, grantees, and government sector partners to stay connected, informed, and to support collaborative action.
So far this year we've heard from a number of public health experts and local leaders at the forefront of the COVID-19 vaccine efforts across the state as well as funders who have taken up advocacy efforts to support this huge undertaking during these bi-weekly calls. Join your Maryland Philanthropy Network colleagues for a chance to reflect on our recent COVID-19 programs, discuss actions you've taken, outstanding questions you may have, and to continue to process how philanthropy can best support communities in this particularly challenging time.
The Maryland Philanthropy Network invites the staff and board members of nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations and social enterprises to our recurring program on foundations and the broader landscape of philanthropy in Maryland. This learning opportunity is most appropriate to new grantseekers and to nonprofit organizations in Baltimore and central Maryland.
This event will now take place on the snow date of January 31.
Out of an abundance of caution and the networking nature of this event, we have decided to cancel our Open House.
This program has been postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience.
After a delay of 27 months, we are pleased to finally host an open house for members at our office space in Baltimore’s Hampden neighborhood! Our customized 4,000-square-foot office features a polished and comfortable conference room (twice the size as our old one), casual meeting areas, an open kitchen, and over 100 feet of gallery space. During the open house, we invite you to tour our offices and convening spaces, experience our first art installations - The Photographer is Listening by Edwin Remsberg and Positive Connection by G.M. Webb, all while enjoying light fare with friends and colleagues as we establish the new center for philanthropy in Maryland.

The 2017 Annual Meeting of the Maryland Philanthropy Network
The Public Health Emergency [PHE] declared by the federal government in response to COVID-19 will end on May 11, 2023. The PHE gave the federal government flexibilities to waive or modify certain requirements in a range of areas, including in the Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP programs and in private health insurance, as well as to allow for the authorization of medical countermeasures and to provide liability immunity to providers who administer services. Once the PHE is declared over, state Medicaid agencies will begin the process of unwinding the flexibilities that the PHE offered. The Medicaid eligibility for all recipients will be reviewed, likely resulting in the loss of coverage for millions of individuals and families.
This event is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited guests only.
