Maryland Philanthropy Network's Baltimore Workforce Funders Collaborative is proud to announce new funding from JPMorganChase to support career pathways in Baltimore. The $2 million philanthropic capital aims to strengthen high-quality training programs and build effective public-private partnerships, helping Baltimoreans secure well-paid jobs in the growing energy and infrastructure sectors while leveraging JPMorganChase’s growing presence in the region to convene stakeholders and drive economic growth for all.
The Baltimore Business Journal has announced its CEO of the Year and their Power 10 Honorees — business leaders who have made a substantial impact on their industries, companies and communities — and who are highly regarded for their industry knowledge. The list of honorees includes Maryland Philanthropy Network board member Dr. Shanaysha Sauls, CEO of the Baltimore Community Foundation.
All grantmakers are invited to participate in this four-part professional development series taught by our region's experienced practitioners, presented by Maryland Philanthropy Network. Session 1 will cover the philanthropic ecosystem. Participants will get to know one another, locate their own foundation or giving program within the broader context of philanthropy, and reflect on their organizations’ areas of interests and goals, as well as ways to communicate with potential grantees and partners.
2023 was an exciting year for the Annie E. Casey Foundation as they celebrated several remarkable milestones. First, they entered their75th year of service to children, youth and families.
