Four local philanthropies established HoCoRespond.com and set a goal of raising $100,000 in 10 days to support Howard County nonprofits with emergency funds in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
Over the last four months, organizations around the globe have surveyed foundations, nonprofits, civil society organizations, and individuals to learn how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting them.
Please join us for a meet and greet with MPN Member, Erin Robertson, the Chief Programs Officer for Nature Sacred. This program will include an overview of Nature Sacred, its vision for health in Maryland and evidence of the healing power of nature with Teresia Hazen, M.Ed., HTR, QMHP and award-winning Firesoul. Katie Lautar, Executive Director of Baltimore Green Space will share how they are working at the intersection of community care of green spaces, advocacy, and scientific research that promotes the health of communities and equitable access to sustainable green spaces.
The Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its Advisory Board, as well as the full slate of Executive Committee and Advisory Board members for 2022.

I recently attended a Living Cities Integration Initiative site visit to the Twin Cities for some cross-site learning, and saw how affective their collective impact approach is.
