2022 Grantmaker Salary and Benefits (GSB) Survey Now Open

The Council on Foundations’ 2022 Grantmaker Salary and Benefits Survey is now open and your participation is needed. Maryland Philanthropy Network is once again partnering with COF to encourage our members to participate. Members who complete the survey receive a FREE copy of the national report—a $598 value! Since 1980, the Grantmaker Salary and Benefits Report has provided the sector with the most comprehensive data on staff composition and compensation in the United States. Grantmakers rely on this annual report to inform budgeting, talent recruitment and retention strategies, and personnel policies and practices.

Discussion of Baltimore Arts & Entertainment Districts - 2024

The Arts Funders Affinity Group invites all members interested in arts and community investment to this continuation of conversations held in October 2018, July 2019 and April 2020. Leaders of Baltimore City's four Arts and Entertainment Districts, Chad Hayes, Director of Community Planning and Revitalization at the Baltimore City Planning Department, and David D. Mitchell, Program Director for Arts and Entertainment Districts, Maryland State Arts Council will provide updates about each districts’ major projects, redesignation status, successes, and current challenges. In addition, we’ll learn about the City's coordination efforts and funding and discuss current issues, such as safety.

Maryland Climate Partners Coalition Update on the Implementation of the Climate Solutions Now Act

The Changing Landscape of Arts Funding

Join Maryland Philanthropy Network's Health Funders Affinity Group and Green Funders Affinity Group as they host Ben Zaitchik, PhD, chair and professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins University, who will give an update on the promising work of the Baltimore Social-Environmental Collaborative. Two years into a five-year, $25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, Dr. Zaitchik and his team of researchers are aiming to create Baltimore as one of the world’s most climate resilient cities.

2025 Health Legislative Debrief
