Bringing It Home: How Project HIPPY Sets Parents and Young Kids Up for Success
Family League of Baltimore is working to accredit multiple HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) programs in Baltimore City. HIPPY ‘home visitors’ work directly with families and caregivers in their homes to bridge the gap in school readiness for children from low-income backgrounds, ensuring they have the foundation needed to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
The Family League was awarded a $20,000 Baltimore Community Foundation Stronger Schools Kindergarten Readiness grant in 2025 for HIPPY implementation.
