POSTPONED: Corporate Disaster Philanthropy: Make the Most of Your Resources
This webinar is being postponed due to some scheduling constraints that were beyond our control and will be rescheduled. The good news is that with a later date, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy will be able to share some new data found in a report are releasing in March. There are some interesting findings, so we know that will be worth the wait. We apologize for any inconvenience.
2020 was a difficult year across the country. With storm and wildfire disasters, a global pandemic, uprisings against state violence, and economic distress, no communities or companies were left untouched by these challenges. Disasters will continue to stretch the resilience and capacities of our communities and, as detailed in the report by Candid and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, the investment of funders in disaster response is critical. As members of our region’s corporate giving community, many of you rushed to the front lines providing your expertise, resources, and human capital to help neighbors heal. This corporate roundtable is an opportunity to learn and share with peers across the country who understand the challenges and successes of designing a giving strategy and implementing practices that have the greatest impact during a time of crisis.
The Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) is a thought leader on the promising practices and innovative approaches taking place in the philanthropic community in response to disasters. During this session, you will have the opportunity to connect with CDP expertise and peers who are navigating what it takes to be trusted leaders among emerging generations of employees and stakeholders.
This program is for corporate giving Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited guests only.
