Please join Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Health Funders Affinity Group to continue the discussion about Neighborhood Nursing, a reimagined healthcare model for Maryland.

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing is convening an effort to design a new primary care model in partnership with University of Maryland, Morgan State, Coppin State, and several community organizations such as Sisters Together and Reaching (STAR) that will reimagine healthcare delivery by offering universal access for every person from birth to death through nurse-led, community-based care. As they design the initial pilot to implement in Baltimore and a rural community, the program team would like funders to learn about the vision behind this effort and offer feedback.

Dean Sarah Szanton, PhD, ANP, RAAN and Lisa Stambolis, MSN, PNP from the Neighborhood Nursing Program will share an update on progress made to date, as well as a proposed timeline, budget, and implementation plan for this innovative community health pilot. Funders are invited to join the conversation, share your feedback, and explore opportunities to support the expansion of this impactful initiative.

This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited guests only. Lunch will be provided.
