How do I measure and maximize grant impact? What are the best measures for the programs we are funding? Am I asking too much of my grantees? What are we learning?
We hear these common questions around the Maryland Philanthropy Network table. Join us on August 1st for a discussion with a leading evaluation expert Kelly Fitzsimmons, Founder of Project Evident. She will share her thoughts about the state of evaluation in our sector, results of a recent survey of nonprofits, and emerging practices. We’ll then have an open discussion about how we are evaluating grantees’ work as well as grantmaking portfolios, and opportunities for collaboration or information sharing toward more meaningful evaluation.
