CTE Reflections: A Systems Perspective
In May, we heard perspectives related to successes and challenges for Career and Technical Education (CTE) from researchers and a state legislator. As a follow up to that program, we will gather CTE systems leaders to share programs, strategies and lessons learned for preparing students for high wage, high skill careers.
Hosted by the Education and Workforce Development Affinity Groups, join us for a discussion with a panel of CTE systems leaders. Confirmed speakers include:
- Lynn Gilli, Assistant State Superintendent for the Division of Career and College Readiness, Maryland State Department of Education
- Rachel Pfeifer, Director of College and Career Readiness, Baltimore City Schools
- Douglas H. Handy, Director, Career & Technology Education and Fine Arts, Baltimore County Public Schools
- Principal C. Michelle Anderson, Eastern Technical High School, Essex
This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only. Lunch will be served.
