A Conversation about Ending Homelessness in Maryland

Wednesday, May 02, 2018, 12:00 - 1:30 PM

Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Basic Human Needs Affinity Group invites you to a conversation with Heather Sheridan, Associate Director of Homelessness Initiatives at the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and Hannah RobertsSocial Program Administrator and Danielle Meister, Continuum of Care Coordinator for Baltimore’s Mayor’s Office of Human Services.

The focus of this conversation will be the status of the Homelessness Solutions Program, which provides federal and state funding to the 16 local Continuums of Care (CoCs) to support homeless shelters and homeless services programs across the State of Maryland; and an update on the accomplishments of Maryland’s Interagency Council on Homelessness. We’ll also hear an update of Baltimore City’s Continuum of Care including workgroup activities such as the Homelessness Investment Scan and continue the discussion about the interests of Maryland Philanthropy Network members.

This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only. Lunch will be served.
