Opioid Restitution Funding Support Discussion
Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Health Funders Affinity Group is inviting you to join us for a meeting with the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office to discuss the Opioid Restitution Fund (ORF) Community Grants.
Mayor Brandon Scott, in partnership with the Restitution Advisory Board, Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Overdose Response and the Mayor's Office of Recovery Programs, recently announced 11 Community Grant awards, a significant milestone in the rollout of ORF. In addition to those awards, the Mayor’s Office has shared with MPN a list of proposals that advanced through the initial screening process but were not ultimately funded or were only partially funded. These were strong applications that they would like to elevate for funders’ consideration.
The meeting will include a brief update from the Mayor’s Office on the ORF Community Grant awards and overall process, and information about the list of proposals. There will also be funder-only time to connect with one another about possible interest or next steps. We hope you can join us for the conversation.
This virtual meeting is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited funders only.
