Maryland Legal Services Corporation 2023 Annual Report

The Maryland Legal Services Corporation, established in 1982 by the Maryland General Assembly and distributes funds from the Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts (IOLTA) program and other sources to nonprofit organizations for the provision of civil legal services to low-income Marylanders. In FY 2023, MLSC made $31.7 million in operating, Judicare and special project grants to 40 nonprofits serving low-income Marylanders.
