Cat memes won't be enough to keep us sane as we approach nearly a week of social distancing to keep the coronavirus — already spreading fast in Maryland — from infecting more citizens. But you can never get enough good news at a time like this.

Stories of people helping other people are everywhere, and they show how we can all come together in a crisis.

The examples come from businesses and individuals alike and range from a $2 million donation for coronavirus relief efforts from Under Armour to neighbors helping neighbors with shopping, chores, and dog walking. So the Baltimore Business Journal has decided to compile some examples of good Samaritans stepping up.
