Chrissy Thornton, President and CEO of Associated Black Charities, recently spoke with  Kathleen McNally Durkin of The Arc Baltimore about the nonprofit’s 75‑year legacy of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities through housing, employment and advocacy.

The two leaders discuss how people with developmental disabilities are contributing to the local economy and, despite the advances that have been made, some of challenges they continue to face today.
