Ausherman Foundation Gifts Downtown Frederick Building for YMCA Arts Center

The Ausherman Family Foundation has gifted two buildings in downtown Frederick to the YMCA of Frederick County, expanding its investment in arts and humanities.

The YMCA Ausherman Arts Center, at 115 E. Church St., will now be owned and operated by the YMCA, offering art, music and dance programs. The organizations’ leaders, with community stakeholders and local officials, celebrated this milestone at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.
