Director of Gift Planning
The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) is seeking a Director of Gift Planning to join our small, mighty, and fast-paced team. This relationship-driven leadership role offers an experienced fundraising professional the opportunity to advance planned giving and major gift strategies, build trusted relationships with donors and professional advisors, and help align charitable resources with the most pressing and emerging needs in Anne Arundel County. Working closely with the President & CEO and the Director of Philanthropic Resources, the Director of Gift Planning guides donors through the full philanthropic lifecycle — from identification and cultivation to fund creation and long-term stewardship — while serving as a trusted philanthropic advisor.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in major gifts and planned giving
- Proven success managing donor relationships and prospect pipelines
- Strong communication, organization, and CRM skills
- Sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and works well in a collaborative environment
- Community foundation experience and credentials such as CFP, CAP, and/or CFRE are preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000 (additional compensation possible for exceptional candidates)
