Strengthening Community Health through Hospital-Community Partnerships

Hospital-Community partnerships promote collaborative actions to strengthen community health. Please join the Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Health Funders and Affinity Group on Aging to hear the results of collaborations between Catholic Charities and GBMC-Gilchrist, and between Meals on Wheels and MedStar Good Samaritan. These partnerships commenced several years ago and are ready to share the results of their collaborations.

These hospital-community partnerships were originally foundation-funded and are now being financially sustained by the hospital partners. This program will include a review of the partnership projects, and a discussion regarding the successes, challenges, and lessons learned from the partnerships.
