Seniors & Housing Collaborative Digital Equity Workgroup Meeting-March 2023

The Seniors & Housing Collaborative Digital Equity Workgroup’s top priority is closing the digital gap for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Technology has become an increasingly important tool for this population to stay connected to each other and to the goods, services, and supports they need to stay healthy and thrive. The group recognizes bridging the digital divide is essential and will engage community partnerships, connect with city and state legislators, and support legislation and appropriate funding so that everyone has access to affordable high-speed internet, devices and tech literacy skills to navigate online safely, and meaningful content and tools to meet their needs.
