Member Sponsored Briefing: Ensuring Every Maryland Family Has Food on the Table This Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving approaches, millions of families across the country are struggling to put food on the table. Please join us to learn how innovative technology can help Maryland families access and keep the food benefits they deserve.

mRelief's mission is to transform access to social services for the inherent dignity of all people. Building on its work nationally, mRelief has helped more than 91,000 Marylanders connect to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and is now piloting an expanded approach to fight food insecurity across the state.

Through this work, mRelief aims to make it easier for families to enroll and stay enrolled in SNAP, cross-enroll families with young children in WIC, and maintain access to SUN Bucks so that children have meals even when school is out. These efforts will also help address SNAP error rates and strengthen Maryland’s safety net for the holidays and beyond.
