Funder Panel: A Conversation For Grantseekers

Funder Panel: A Conversation For Grantseekers

Friday, May 21, 2021, 9:30 - 11:00 AM

Maryland Philanthropy Network knows philanthropy cannot be successful without our partners in government and the nonprofit community. Therefore, we strive to take some of the mystery out of philanthropy and promote best practices in resource development and funder relationships.

During this session, a panel of diverse funders including Diana Fulchiron, Director of Community Impact at The Community Foundation of Frederick CountyLara Hall, Senior Program Officer, Blaustein Philanthropic Group ; Franklin N. McNeil, Jr, Vice President/Community Consultant at PNC Bank, Greater Maryland Region; Melanie Styles, Senior Program Officer for Workforce Development at Abell Foundation will shed light on how they are approaching their grantmaking in response to COVID19 and racial inequity. Funders will share their thoughts about their current priorities and considerations as well as opportunities on the horizon for nonprofits in a difficult service environment. They will also offer general advice on how nonprofits can continue to engage with donors in meaningful ways.

We will spend some time in small group discussions for participants to connect with funders and one another.

This event is for individuals at any level of fundraising experience.
