Environmental Legislation: What Happened This Year in Annapolis?

Environmental Legislation: What Happened This Year in Annapolis?

Friday, May 18, 2018, 12:00 - 1:30 PM

With environmental protections under attack at the federal level, how have Maryland legislators responded this year? Proposed bills to increase our renewable energy mandate,  eliminate polystyrene for food containers, raise community accountability at the Maryland Public Service Commission, and accelerate reforestation of Maryland are among the issues we will review during this debrief of the 2018 session. Our speakers will include Karla Raettig from the Maryland League of Conservation Voters and campaign leaders on key legislative initiatives.

This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only. Lunch will be served.
