As the city's first Senior Advisor of Arts and Culture within the Mayor's Office since the 1990s, Tonya is fervently dedicated to transforming Baltimore into a hub of innovation and creativity within the creative sector. The Mayor's Office of Arts & Culture in Baltimore is dedicated to fostering an environment where arts and culture flourish. Their mission is to promote and support local artists, cultural organizations, and community projects. They believe that a vibrant arts scene is key to the city's identity and vitality, enhancing the quality of life for all residents and making Baltimore a premier destination for cultural experiences.
