Business Giving Roundtable: School-Centered Neighborhood Investment Initiative

Business Giving Roundtable: School-Centered Neighborhood Investment Initiative

Wednesday, September 14, 2016, 9:00 - 10:30 AM

Maryland Philanthropy Network business and corporate members are invited to learn about its new School-Centered Neighborhood Investment Initiative with Director Lisa Hodges. The School-Centered Neighborhood Investment program is designed to leverage the Baltimore City Schools 21st Century Buildings program, the Baltimore City Department of Planning’s INSPIRE program and other community development resources both public and private to spark investment in neighborhoods surrounding schools scheduled for redevelopment. The session will include time to discuss specific ways in which the business sector can engage with this work and support the ongoing work of stakeholders and communities to build community capacity and to develop and implement community development plans.

This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only. Coffee will be available at 8:45 AM.

Special thanks to Venable LLC for hosting!
