This roundtable is a space and opportunity for members to engage in nontraditional thinking about philanthropy rooted in the principles of adrienne maree brown’s book Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds. The group convenes to wrestle with big ideas and identify ways to transform grant practices to achieve a more just and equitable world. The gatherings are intentionally designed to allow members to practice the principles of emergent strategy and become more able to adapt to change more readily and act from the relationship level.
