Responsible for reviewing and overseeing implementation of Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Policy and providing guidance for Maryland Philanthropy Network activities to further racial equity, diversity and inclusion in philanthropy in Central Maryland.
As Maryland Philanthropy Network continues to explore strategies to support the field in incorporating equity in our practices, we are excited to announce that we are partnering with several other Philanthropy Serving Organizations (PSOs) from across the country to advance the learning and practice of equitable evaluation among our members.

Maryland Philanthropy Network is pleased to host our annual training for funders, Advancing Racial Equity in Grantmaking, in partnership with ABFE: A Philanthropic Partnership for Black Communities.
Eric Ward, who is African American, is an expert on white nationalism. He worked in foundations for seven years, including a three-year stint as a program officer at the Ford Foundation.
Please join us together with OSI-Baltimore, Black Girls Vote, No Boundaries Coalition, and Baltimore Votes for a virtual roundtable about opportunities for funders to support a strong civic participation culture in Baltimore.

The Collaborative is a group of private and public funders committed to advancing equity, job quality and systems change efforts that lead to family-sustaining wages, strengthened communities and a vibrant local economy. BWFC members actively fund workforce development, are willing to co-invest, are committed to tracking outcomes and sharing investment data, and work together to improve workforce systems.
