Youth Education and Employment Pathways Meeting
Please join us at Maryland Philanthropy Network to discuss an important opportunity focused on developing education and employment pathways for youth ages 16-24 that are out of school and out of work.
Local Baltimore public, private and community stakeholders are working together to develop a response to a request for proposals from the Aspen Forum for Community Solutions and the Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund. Through this opportunity, the Aspen Forum will select a number of cities throughout the country to
- build strong evidence of success for utilizing collective impact community collaboration strategy to build and deepen pathways that achieve better outcomes in education and employment for Opportunity Youth (youth that are ages 16-24 and are out of school and out of work); and
- make the case for increased adoption of the collective impact and community collaboration as an effective model for community change.
The funding opportunity involves a $100,000 planning grant followed by the opportunity to apply for implementation funds. It will require a 1:1 community match.
Please join in a conversation with the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development and the Family League to learn about the opportunity and to participate shaping the response to the Aspen Forum.
For Maryland Philanthropy Network Members Only. Lunch will be served.
