The Expanding our Vision Baltimore Aging Partners Conference is a gathering and celebration of community stakeholders who support older adults in the Baltimore area. This conference provides the opportunity for community stakeholders to connect and network with one another while promoting and celebrating innovations and successes in the field. Participants can expect to strengthen existing collaborations, while sharing information, aligning actions and building new partnerships.

Dr. Linda P. Fried
Dean of Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and former Mason F. Lord Professor of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Dr. Linda P. Fried, MD, MPH, is a public health leader in the fields of epidemiology and geriatrics. She has dedicated her career to the science of healthy aging and defining how to transition to a world where greater longevity benefits people of all ages.
1. Brain Health: Karen Alexander, Program Director, BrainFutures
Karen will present on neuroplasticity, the concept that the brain continues to develop, change and form new pathways throughout our lives, including old age.
2. Intergenerational Programs and Policy: Nancy Henkin: Senior Fellow, Generations United
Nancy will present on the intergenerational program models and policy, with particular focus on urban environments like Baltimore City.
3. Public Policy Update: Michele Douglas, Partner, Public Policy Partners
Michele will present on current aging policy issues, with a particular focus on developments at the State of Maryland level
4. The WISH Program: Susan Donovan, Director, Population Health, Nexus Montgomery
Susan will present on the WISH program, a health coaching program that targets residents of senior housing in Montgomery County
